Help iTIP Tell Iowa Tourism’s Story

iTIP is collecting information from partners to help strengthen how we communicate tourism's impact in Iowa. Share what you're seeing, including event activity, visitor trends, reasons people are traveling, economic results, visitor feedback or other interesting findings. You don't need to have all the answers. Send us what you know, and iTIP can follow up to learn more. Submissions may help inform future op-eds, advocacy communications and other efforts to explain the value of tourism in Iowa.

Include the name, location, date(s) and a brief description.
Where are they coming from? Why did they make the trip? Are they traveling farther than expected, extending their stay, visiting other Iowa destinations, returning again or doing something else that caught your attention?
Attendance, visitor origin, lodging, spending, economic impact, changes from previous years or other results. Share the numbers that stand out and any context that helps us understand what makes them notable.
Comments, conversations, emails or social posts that caught your attention. Maybe someone shared why they traveled, how far they came, other Iowa stops they added or plans to return. Paste the comment or share a link when possible.
